SCOTT'S STORY
In November of 2022, Scott suffered a severe spinal cord injury. When he was picked up by ambulance, little did he know that was the last time he was going to see the inside of his apartment. Scott had to have surgery on his spine to help correct this issue before it progressed any worse. Waking up from the surgery, Scott found himself temporarily paralyzed from the chest down. Upon beginning the lond road of physical therapy to regain the strength and mobility back in his lower body, he then ran into more issues and more pain, and is now awaiting a MRI and possibly another surgery. Scott lost his apartment, his mobility and freedom, and is unable to work due to his injuries. Scott is under great care with the VA Spinal Cord Injury Center, but is there until further notice still to this day. Scott is a veteran and worked at the VA transporting other veterans to/from the VA Hospital in their time of need post-service. Please help us support him in his time of need, for someone that gave so much for us and our freedom.
